All Awal Gulf Manufacturing Air Conditioners up to 70K BTU/Hr meet the energy efficiency norms set by the Bahrain EWA authority on Minimum Energy Performance (MEP) for household electrical appliance. Based on the Energy Consumption rate, all our products under this scope meet and exceed minimum 5 Star rating.
The SASO Quality Mark is a mandatory Saudi Arabia. It is granted by the Saudi Standards, Metrology and Quality Org (SASO) to indicate conformity of the products Window AC, Split AC and Chest Freezers to the relevant Saudi standards.
This recognition and award was granted after Awal Gulf Manufacturing successfully demonstrated compliance of Air Conditioning and Chest Freezer products to the stringent norms of the internationally reputed IEC standards on safety of electrical appliances.
As part of our commitment towards Quality and continuous improvement, we are pleased to announce that our Design and development laboratories have been audited and certified by GCC Accreditation Center (GAC) in accordance with international standard ISO/IEC 17025:2017 .
The certification is in addition to our existing accreditation from Emirates International Accreditation center( EIAC).
This achievement demonstrates our strong technical competence and management skills which are necessary for delivering consistence and valid test results of air conditioners. The labs are fully equipped and certified for testing air conditioners complying to international and GCC standards.
KCAS (Kuwait Conformity Assurance Scheme) ensures the electrical safety of the electrical equipment for our products Window air conditioners, Split air conditioners and Chest Freezers provided by Intertek.
Our test laboratories and measuring equipment have been audited and approved by Intertek, Thailand, for the compliance CTF (Customer’s Testing Facility) for Level 3 under Satellite scope for performance test of Air Conditioners.
Awal Gulf Manufacturing has acquired the Eurovent certification for compliance of the Ducted Chilled Water Fan Coil Units with the European Standard. The certification confirms that the equipment will operate in accordance with the design specifications.
Gulf Standard Organization (GSO) has introduced a new regulation for low voltage electrical equipment, in which compliance with the GSO requirements shall be awarded by GSO Notified Body.
Accordingly, Awal Gulf Manufacturing products such as Window Air Conditioners, Split Air Conditioners, and Chest Freezers Coolers with 50Hz and 60Hz were tested and found to comply with the requirements of GSO.
As a result, notified bodies of GSO, awarded Awal Gulf Manufacturing with G-mark certification and approved to use G-mark logo on our products.
